The Football Clubs from the City of Banyule have formed a lobby group called the Banyule Soccer Group. The group is a representative body comprising members from all the clubs in the City of Banyule. A number of players from Watsonia Heights recently tried out for selection for the places with the Northern Zone FC in the new summer league competition. Congratuations go to Amy, Alana and Oliva who were selected for the Under 13s, Jessica S for the Under 15s, and Jessica K for the Under 17s in the girls competition.
